WSB News and Updates 01-10-2011
The World Series of Boxing (WSB) have revealed that the competition will be streamed live on the internet after they launched their new YouTube channel WSB TV. The WSB is owned by the International Boxing Association (AIBA) and is the only professional boxing competition that allows amateur boxers to retain their Olympic eligibility even though it features no head guards or vests and a professional-style scoring with three judges. The WSB TV announcement means that the competition will become the first league based sporting event to have its entire season broadcast on YouTube.
"We are very pleased to announce the launch of the WSB TV channel on YouTube thanks to Google and TSA," said WSB chief operating officer Ivan Khodabakhsh. http://www.youtube.com/worldseriesboxingtv
