Former WBA bantamweight champion Wladimir Sidorenko (22-2-2, 7 KOs) returned with a unanimous decision win over Mbwana Matumla (19-5, 11 KOs) for the vacant WBC International Silver super flyweight title.

• The main undercard event, a featherweight rematch between Ukrainians Timur Akhundov (11-2-1, 4 KOs) and Mamed Yadgarov (15-5-1, 9 KOs), was a real war for all ten rounds. The decision of the judges was a shock. One gave it to Akhundov, one gave it to Yadgarov, and the third scored it a draw!

• Unbeaten cruiserweight Dmytro Kucher (10-0, 8 KOs) took an unanimous decision over American journeyman Joey Vegas (11-6-1, 4 KOs).

• Russian heavyweight Nikolay Israelyan (6-0, 4 KOs) defeated Paata Berikashvili (7-9-1, 5 KOs) by unanimous decision.
