Manny Pacquiao Vs Antonio Margarito

In an interview with the UK publication The Telegraph Freddie Roach said that he's not very concerned with Antonio Margarito and what he will bring to the table in the upcoming fight with Manny Pacquiao on November 13. The fight will happen at a catch-weight of 151-pounds – “The weight and size of Margarito is the only worry. Even with the size advantage, Pacquiao will overwhelm Margarito” Said Roach.

Roach says Pacquiao will come in weighing 149-pounds at most.

“You know what kind of size Manny is. He’ll come in at 149 lbs in the ring. He can’t come in too much heavier than that, and anyway, any extra weight would not help him.  Manny will start fast with this guy, and we will finish with him fast,” Roach said.

Tomasz Adamek – Who’s Next?

After Tomasz Adamek’s decision win over Michael Grant this weekend ARENA CEO Ahmet Öner suggests Adamek to fight his Cuban heavyweight sensation Odlanier Solis next.

"I believe that this could be a good fight to revive the division", said Öner. "Both guys are top 10 heavyweights and two of the most interesting fighters in the division.

“Adamek is a two division world champion and proved that he can play with the big boys. Solis is a three-time world amateur champion, Olympic gold medallist and unbeaten as a professional. I am pretty sure that we can get the US public interested in this heavyweight clash. I like the fight not only as Solis’ promoter but also as a boxing fan. The winner would be a legitimate challenger for either Klitschko brother."

Tomasz Adamek’s View

In an article at Sportsillustrated.cnn.com, the 33-year-old Adamek had this to say about the fight with Grant: “If he hit me, he hit me with one punch. There were no combinations. In my mind, I thought I won all 12 rounds.”
