Beijing, China - Saturday the 28, of August saw the opening of the first edition of the Combat Games.

No less that thirteen different combat sports are taking part in these games Wushu, Aikido, Boxing, Judo, Ju-Jitsu, Karate, Kendo, Kickboxing, Muaythai, Sambo, Sumo, Taekwondo and Wrestling.

These games are being held between the 28 August to 4 September 2010, the competition which is show-casing, both Olympic and non-Olympic combat sports will also include a Cultural Program that will reflect the social and cultural values of these sports and Combat Games as a whole.
