Top Muay Thai coach, Andre Zeitoun’s last visit before he left Malta was to the “Shiroi Tora Shotokan Karate Dojo” which is run by Andre’s friend for over twenty years - Sensei Jairzinho – Zammit.

The welcome at the dojo by Sensei Jairzinoho & his students for Andre was warm and enthusiastic.

Andre’s protest of a full stomach was swept aside as he was given the honor of leading the training session.

The two masters with the help of one of the more advanced students gave an excellent display in blocking and striking techniques.

However the enthusiastic young students were not about to let Andre of that easily and full stomach or not a kicking demonstration was next in line for Andre. It was apparent that the Thai Boxing coach has lost none of his athletic abilities as he effortlessly took to the air and gave an excellent demonstration in Muay Thai kicking techniques.

Much to the dismay of the young students – all good things must come to an end – and the lesson was soon over but not before a presentation ceremony were Andre was presented with a book about Malta in appreciation of his visit.

What shone through during this visit to the Shiro Tora Dojo was the excellent ability of both masters to communicate and teach.

Sensei Jairzinho – Zammit runs an excellent karate club. That he not only enjoys teaching his young pupils but cares about them is very obvious.

The Sensei is assisted in the smooth running of the club by his wife Fleur and his father Joe -  A sport club with a family environment.
