MMA European title fight in Newcastle, UK, March 25th. 
The first Eiko event date has been set. It is Sunday the 25th of March 2012. It will be at TheBamburgh Suite in the prestigious St James Park at the centre of Newcastle. 
The main event sees the two giants fight for the WKF European Heavyweight MMA Title. It pits Greek born Mike Connors against the Polish born Tomasz Czerwinski, in what will surely be an epic battle.

Biography Fighting out of House of Pain, born in Poland, now living in Manchester. “The Beast from the East” holds the fame of being one of the heaviest heavyweights on record, having weighed in heavier than the famous Bob Sap and Butterbean.

Biography Mike “The Machine” Connors fights out of Providence, Rhode Island.  He is currently pursuing his dream as a Mix Martial Artist fighter and trains out of Holland, Netherlands with his idol Alistair Overeem.  Mike admires Alistair Overeem as a trainer, mentor, coach and is honored to have been given a great opportunity.

Mike is an accomplished wrestler turned Mix Martial Arts fighter at the young age of 24.  Mike has been completing in wrestling since he was 8 years old.  He holds championships in two different weight classes and went his senior year of highschool without giving up a single take down in wrestling.  Mike has been competing in MMA for the past four years winning all his fights to date with the exception of 1 no contest.  “The Machine” also has experience in Ju Jitsu and Muay Thai kick boxing.

The Machine’s goal is to compete as top ranked MMA fighter.  With the proper training, desire, discipline and dedication.  Mike is one of those people who suceeds at what he does.  Fighting has always came natural to him and is naturally an abnormally strong and athletic person.  For anyone who has rolled or fought with him can attest to his strength.  He has had many fights for such a young kid both in and unfortunately out of the ring and he is truly a force to be reckoned with.  Unlike many other fighters, Mike had endured many intense street fights where there were truly no rules.

Mike’s goal is to stay true to himself and someday fight in Japan, Strikeforce or for any other top MMA organizations.  Mike “The Machine” Connors is willing to do whatever it takes to get to the top and his journey has just begun.
