Mayagüez – Puerto Rico – Friday 30 July

The Puertorican boxers have dominated through out these games in yesterday’s finals they took no less than four gold medals and they have another two finalists in this evenings program. Puerto Rico boxers won their finals in the 48, 54, 60, 69 & 91+ Kg. This evening Saturday 31st July will be held the second day of the finals.

The Puertorican boxers Jonathan Gonzalez in the 51kg and Enrique Collazo in the 75 kg categorically dominated their opponents in the semifinals of Campeonaton Boxing Games American and Caribbean Center, Mayaguez 2010.

Gonzalez, in the first bout of the session sixth of this event, won by points Guyana´s boxer Dexter Jordan 8-3 to face in the finals the boxer from Colombia Ciever Avila

Meanwhile, Collazo, gave no chance to Jamaica´s Jovan Young defeated 5-1 by the Puerto Rican and got his turn to the finals against Dominican boxer Felix Valera which has reached the finals with many eager to return home with gold.
